On Wednesday September 17th, 2025, Ali Hopper from GUARD Against Trafficking will be testifying before an important U.S. Senate hearing on child trafficking. Ali will be paying respect to the late Charlie Kirk in her opening statement to the Senate and then will detail specific failures in the system that led to unprecedented child trafficking through the failed unaccompanied alien child program. In addition to addressing the systemic failures that led to trafficking under the last administration, Ali will be highlighting current trends in human trafficking that are occurring in communities through the United States today and what can be done to mitigate human trafficking. Ali's insight and testimony is based on the research interviews Ali and GUARD co-founder Dr. Jarrod Sadulski conduct with former (and at times current) human traffickers who have been incarcerated in the United States and abroad. GUARD uncovers hidden trafficking operations, often beyond law enforcement's awareness through their unique research involving gaining a deeper understanding of human trafficking through the lens of those responsible for it, traffickers themselves. Their hands-on research also includes speaking with countless victims, providing a rare, dual perspective from both traffickers and survivors.
